Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder to Sign into Law HB 437 to create Missouri Military Family Relief Fund

JEFFERSON CITY, MO — Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder will, on behalf of Governor Matt Blunt, sign into law House Bill 437 that creates The Missouri Military Family Relief Fund. The fund will collect proceeds from a check-off box on the 2006 Missouri State Income Tax forms. The fund is designed to assist families of active duty military personnel with unique financial needs. Details of the legislation will be addressed at the press conference.
